The Rotten Angel

Rob the recruiter

Fast-paced environments are never good. This is another crowd who kept emailing despite my repeated assurances I was happy in my current job.

Looking for someone who knows 'everything' can be rather haphazared and hair-brained. I had to let them know I had changed my ways.

Good Afternoon,

I hope you're well?

Whilst searching our database your details/CV were highlighted as being a possible match to a permanent vacancy that I have which either presently or in the past was a match with your skills and experience.

However; before I go any further I would like to point out that I did compose a very broad search and if your current skills do not correspond to this position, I do apologise. Perhaps instead you may know of someone you have worked with in the past that could be interested?

My client based in Central London, is looking for a highly experienced Web Support Engineer / Online Support Specialist who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of Web technologies and the supporting infrastructures, this involves supporting mission critical Websites and Web based on-line applications in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.

...more redacted details where they ask for the Sun, Moon and the stars.

Start date is as soon as possible although they are willing to wait a little longer for the "right candidate" and the salary is competitive (between £40,000 & £50,000 per annum depending on experience) plus a bonus of 20% with other attractive benefits and luxurious offices in a prime location on offer.

Please send me your updated CV listing the locations you are interested in working in and when your next availability for work is.

If you are not available but know of anyone who may be interested in this job it would be appreciated if you could let them know about me or vice a versa.

Thanks in advance and I hope to hear from you soon. If you have any queries please do not hesitate in contacting me on +0044(x)xxx xxx xxxx.

Kind Regards

Rob Recruiter

Hello Rob,

I think you may have made a mistake. I have left the world of IT and decided to become a monk in the small hamlet of Piozzgiorrona Italy.

I hope you respect this decision. It wasn't an easy one but I feel that I have done the right thing.

I became a former shadow of myself when my wife ran off with a Perl developer. Looking at code just brings nothing but tears to my eyes and a broken heart.

I am alive again, however, and I have found a new calling in serving the great lands from whence we came.

I thank you for email and I wish you a very happy Easter.

Live long, happy and healthy!

Bless
