Mothers Day Salad

A rare but relished delicacy in most parts of the world is the celebrated ‘mẹ cảm ơn bạn’ salad, a special dish eaten only once a year in Vietnam.

This dish is eaten by the whole family on the second last Sunday in the month of March every twenty years and is so simple to prepare.

All one needs to do is add a bottle of malt vinegar to a jar and place in four roses and a pint of water.

The vinegar and rose petal infusion, baked for twenty minutes, will make for a delicious salad on mothers day!
